Songhua River pollution stretch enters into Yilan County

BEIJING, Dec. 3 (Xinhuanet) -- The pollution stretch has been detected near Dalianhe Town of Yilan County, in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, 388 km away from the upstreams of the Tongjiang River, according to the latest news release from the State Environment Protection Bureau Friday.

As of 21 pm Friday, the nitrobenzene pollution density at the post reached 0.0326 mg/L, 0.92 times above the national safety level, and afterwards, it had kept on rising. At 4 pm, 86 was 0.0850 mg/L, 4.0 times above the national safety level.

Beginning from Dec. 2, at 8 am, the nitrobenzene pollution density at the post of Bayangang Town, which is 569 km away from the upstreams of the Tongjiang River, has been detected to be up to national safety level
