No threat of pollution to Amur - Ministry
MOSCOW. August 24 (Interfax) - China has informed Russia that a breakdown at a Chinese chemical plant poses no threat of pollution to either the Amur river or its tributary the Songhua, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced Thursday.
"According to official explanations by the Chinese side, there is no threat of chemical pollution either to the Amur or the Songhua," the ministry's press service said in a statement posted on its website.Technorati Tags: china, songhua, russia, amur, pollution
