Chemical plant blast kills 2 in Zhejiang

HANGZHOU, Jan. 6 (Xinhuanet) -- Two people were killed and many others were injured in an explosion at a chemical plant in east China's Zhejiang Province on Friday noon.

accident occurred at 11:50 a.m. when a pressure vessel at the Changzheng Chemical Industrial Ltd. in Shangyu City exploded. Fortunately, it failed to produce severe environmental pollution in the region.
